Already 1000 days on air for the Luxury channel ! Big Up !

Kaina is the latest single of ragga band R.I.C . The original idea for the music video was to play with all the stereotypes around drugs: deals, culture, justice, mafia. It was shot in 5 days and the post production took around 3 weeks.

Covering the GMM event, skilllab came up with this black and white, grainy video featuring great bmx riders and some of the best european skateboarders (Bastien SalabanzI, Marc Haziza, Ruben Rodriguez…).

Plaza.lu is a luxemburgish search engine. They offer different solutions to promote your business. They asked us to produce an ad for their website. What we have done :
- the concept
- the storyboard (the artist is actually Gengiskahn)
- the shooting
- the complete post-production, including sounddesign.

FremantleMedia France needed an opening sequence for a documentary about AIR GUITAR. Here is what we came up with. All done in After Effects, the documentary was aired on the french pay TV Canal+.

We’ve participated to the Babylon A.D. contest and guess what ? We won !
You can see our ad in the movie. It’s really small, but hey, we did it!
What we have produced is this fake ad. We shot it on the HVX200 - M2 combo in two short days. One part was done on location and the other one in a studio (thx Yves !). The level bars on the “O2 touchscreen” were added in post-production. Ok it’s far from perect, but we did it with no budget in a very short timing.
This video is a showcase of what skillab can produce. It illutrates the benefits of a decent image quality, good lighting and the association of individual skills.
It was shot in two days with a HVX200 and a Redrockmicro M2. The post-production was done in Final Cut and After Effects. Big thanks to THE VOICE, Bob Chritsy!

For the Christmas Holyday 2007, the luxury channel LUXE.TV aired their best reports of the year. This was the ad aired one week before and during the 2 weeks of their best of.
What do you do on a sunny Sunday afternoon with some friends, a bottle of Ricard, some petanque balls and a camera ? You’re right ! A cool fake ad for this delicious south-french-summmer-beverage.
We used the beloved DVX 100 and some of our DIY gear : a poor skill35 (a DIY Redrock M2) and a travelling.
The concept of this animation represents the philosophy of skilllab: take care of some good seeds and let them grow to something big! It represents how the team works. The seed grows to a tree, it multiplies and finally forms our logo. This was an opportunity to work with our mate and sounddesigner Pierre Bianchi aka Perudo.
